Femap v11.2 was released this week. Just some of the new features of v11.2 include:
- Analysis studies – for grouping and organization of output data
- Improved postprocessing – On the fly enveloping without (now) optional storing into database
- Freebody section cuts – define a cutting plane and the load transfer across that plane can be summed and visualized
- Geometry edits – more powerful capabilities to edit solids and redefining surfaces to eliminate disjointed geometry
- Contact manager – improved management of all model contact data
- Added meshing functionality – more parameters to edge splitting (great for mesh edits without underlying geometry!), rigid element editing
- Performance graphics – even better rendering frame rates
